Oil Caps

Engine oil lubricates and cools the interior of your engine. Regularly checking your oil level and topping it up as necessary is therefore one of the most important standard actions when it comes to engine maintenance. The owner's manual indicates at what mileage or periods the oil should be changed, while the intermediate visual check via dipstick or window indicates whether intermediate topping up is required.

The oil filler cap is therefore regularly opened and closed, but will not easily wear out. In the worst case it is screwed in crookedly, damaging the thread and having to be replaced. Most oil filler caps, however, are replaced with a beautiful color anodized one to give the engine a hi-tech accent.
